Unlike standard drop-through rotary valves, which may seize or wear excessively when handling hard granules such as plastics or nylon, the Side-Through (Offset) design effectively reduces mechanical stress, ensuring smoother operation and longer service life.
How It Works
The Offset Rotary Valve design minimizes pocket fillage during rotor rotation. As the rotor turns, material continues filling in the upward cycle, while pellets or granules fall freely at the shear point—reducing pressure on the rotor and eliminating the risk of blockage.
The specialized pelican-beak geometry ensures uniform material distribution across the rotor's full width, providing consistent feed, reduced wear, and smooth flow even for materials prone to jamming in standard valves.
