How Vacuum Conveying Works

  • Material Pick-Up: Material is drawn from silos, drums, sack tip stations, or hoppers.
  • Conveying Phase: Vacuum from a blower, pump, or venturi pulls the product through pipelines.
  • Receiving Phase: Receiver separates product and air using filter assemblies.
  • Discharge Phase: Material is discharged into mixers, dryers, blenders, reactors, or hoppers.

Conveying Styles:

  • Dilute Phase – Fast, continuous flow for free-flowing powders
  • Dense Phase – Gentle conveying for fragile or fine materials
